Use the other arm to pull the palm and fingers back. You will feel a mildpull in your biceps. Hold the position for 20 seconds and do the exercise to the other arm. Do the stretching movement 2 to 3 times more.

3. Advanced movements. You can start to add more exercises for your biceps to keep them growing after 3 to 6 months. There are glands which sit on top of each of your kidneys called adrenal glands. During times of stress, these glands go into a primitive survival mode. They produce adrenaline to help you fight or flee from the stressor. However, most of our stressors today are not something like a animal, that we can fight or run away from to protect our lives, rather they are bosses, co-workers, teenagers, spouses, bill collectors etc.

Instead of the adrenaline going to the muscles where it is used up and discarded by the body, the adrenaline dwells within the body, often attacking the coating of the nerves (aka. myelin sheathing).
If this process happens long or often enough, the myelin becomes very fragile and the adrenals tend to stay in continuous defense mode. Therefore every little stressor can cause the feeling of extreme panic or anxiety.

There are other factors to consider….
• Coffee, tea and caffeine… over-stimulate the adrenals, keeping them in an already agitated state
• Lack of nutrients especially potassium, sodium, B-complex and fatty acids…which help soothe the adrenals

Signaling problems can prevent the brain from being able to coordinate properly the different components of speech.

The best person to diagnose if you have a speech disorder such as stammering is a certified and licensed speech and language pathologist (SLP). The SLP is trained to conduct thorough diagnostic tests that will determine the appropriate treatment or therapy. With young children they will often recomend just waiting to see if this can be overcome naturally without intervention.

Currently, there is no available “cure” for stuttering but there are plenty of treatments, some more effective than others.

Some doctors have utilized electronic devices and medications to treat stuttering. Unfortunately, the use of drugs may cause undesirable side effects, especially in children. Relying on a machine is not always a convenient and accessible option, especially when you or your child has to move around. No child want to go to the school playground looking different from the other kids.

Speech therapists will often use a treatment that has the patient speaking very slowly, starting with short sentences then building to faster speech and longer sentences. This will force your muscles to respond by growing bigger and this will make your abdominal muscles bigger and that is what you need to sport a six pack.
