Cheeses has different flavors because of the different sources that cheese makers can choose from. That is the reason why there are lots of classifications of cheese. Cheese-making companies can now give consumers a wide range of cheese types. Out of these milk sources these are some of the types of cheese that are available to satisfy your taste buds:
Blue Cheese: This is widely used in the community. This classification came from cow’s milk, sheep’s milk or goat’s milk. This cheese contains Penicillium that gives the cheese a dotted bluish color in it. This added material is also responsible for giving this cheese a distinct type of odor and aroma.
Soft and Fresh Cheese: This type of cheese can be consisted of the different sources of cheese. This is an all-natural cheese. It gives less in flavor since it does not have much contrast to its flavor. It has soft texture. This type of cheese should be consumed in no time since it is likely to be molded easily because of its nature and preparation. When it comes to age, the soft cheese is a bit older than the fresh cheese.
Semi-soft Cheese: These are more firm that the fresh cheese. This has a richer flavor. This cheese type serves as a table cheese that could be used during cooking. This is commonly used in kitchens.
Hard-type Cheese: The hard type cheese is older when it comes to age. Its crystalloid texture is ideally used for sprinkling.
Stinky Cheese: The unusual taste of this cheese may give unique flavor to your dish even though it smells different.
